1. About the Service

Simple Chores is a household chore-tracking application provided by Rudolf Gumzej, obrt (Zagreb, Croatia). It lets members of a household create, assign, schedule, and track chores together, along with achievements and statistics.

2. Accounts and Households

An account belongs to one household at a time. The household owner can invite members via an invite code; members can leave or be removed by the owner. Deleting your account permanently removes your data.

3. Subscription and Payment

Simple Chores offers optional paid plans (monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase) that unlock premium features for the paying member. Payments are processed via Stripe (and, on iOS, via Apple's In-App Purchase). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals without refunding the current period. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge.

4. User Responsibility

You're responsible for the accuracy of the chores, schedules, and household data you enter, and for keeping your account credentials secure.

5. Limitation of Liability

Simple Chores is provided "as is". We're not liable for missed chores, scheduling errors, or disputes between household members arising from use of the app.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. This right does not apply to digital content already delivered after the consumer has given explicit consent to immediate performance, such as immediate unlock of premium features.

8. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

Consumers may contact their national body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. A list of such bodies is available from the European Commission in its list of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies.
