Account data: your email address and name.
Household content: chores, templates, achievements, and schedules you and your household members create.
Identifiers: your account ID and a push-notification token, if you enable notifications.
Profile picture (optional): if you choose a photo as your avatar, a small resized copy (128 × 128 pixels) is stored with your profile and is visible to the members of your household. If you choose an icon instead, only the icon name is stored. The app reads only the single photo you select; it does not access the rest of your photo library.
Purchase data: your subscription status and renewal date. We do not see or store your card number — payments are processed by Stripe (and, on iOS, by Apple).
We process this data to provide the household chore-tracking service you signed up for (performance of contract), and to send push notifications you opted into (consent).
We use the following processors to run the service: Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, push notifications), Stripe (payment processing), and, on iOS, Apple and RevenueCat (in-app purchase processing). We do not sell your data.
Some processors above operate servers outside the EU/EEA (including the United States). Where this applies, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes your data, as described in our Terms of Use.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to processing. You can delete your account and data directly in the app. For any other request, contact simpchores@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
Simple Chores is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
